Privacy policy — Condition: Property Reports

Boluga Limited ("Boluga", "we", "us") makes Condition. This policy explains what information the app handles, where it goes, and the choices you have. Condition keeps your data on your device by default, contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking SDKs, and we do not sell personal information to anyone.

The short version

• Your properties, visits, photographs, signatures and reports stay on your device unless you create an account and sync, share a property, send a signing link, or export a report yourself.
• Subscriptions are handled by Apple and Google. We never see your payment details.
• You can delete your account and everything stored with it from inside the app, or by emailing apps@boluga.com.

Working without an account

Condition does not require an account. Used this way, everything you create — properties, areas, elements, observations, photographs, annotations, signatures and reports — is stored only on your device. We have no copy of it and no access to it. Deleting the app deletes the data; backups you have enabled on your device (iCloud or Google backup) are controlled by your device settings, and the app's own "Back up to Files" writes a file only where you put it.

Photographs and their metadata

Condition reads the capture time, time-zone offset and, if your camera recorded one, the location from each photograph's metadata, and stores them with the photograph because the report prints the capture time (and may print the location) as evidence. These values are read once at capture and never changed. Location is only present if your camera app was allowed to record it; Condition itself does not use your device's location services.

If you create an account

Creating an account is optional and enables cloud sync between devices, sharing properties with inspectors and reviewers, teams and remote signing links. With an account:

• Account data: we store your email address and a securely hashed password, managed by our hosting provider's authentication service.
• Property data: the properties you choose to sync — their visits, observations, photographs, annotations, signatures and activity history — are uploaded to our servers so they can be synced to your other devices and shared with the people you choose. Members of a team or a shared property see what you share with them and nothing else.
• Signing links: when you send a signing link, the person who opens it sees the one visit the link covers. If they sign, their name, role, signature strokes and the time of signing are stored with that visit as part of the record, and the visit locks. A link can be revoked at any time; a signature already given stays, because it is part of the record both parties relied on.
• Where: our servers are run by Supabase in the European Union (AWS, Ireland). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
• Deletion: "Delete account" in Settings removes your account, your properties and every photograph and signature stored with them from our servers. Properties shared with you by others are not affected. We also delete on request by email.

Subscriptions

Pro and Team subscriptions are sold through the App Store and Google Play. Apple or Google take payment and we receive only a receipt that tells us which plan is active, which we check on our servers to unlock the features you paid for. We never see card numbers or billing addresses. Refunds and cancellations are handled through the store you bought from.

What we do not do

• No advertising, no advertising identifiers.
• No analytics or crash-reporting SDKs: nothing about how you use the app is sent to us or to anyone else.
• No selling, renting or trading of personal information.
• No tracking across other companies' apps or websites.

Reports you export

A report you export, share or print is yours. It contains whatever the record contains — including photographs, capture times and any names you entered — so share it as you would any document about the property.

Children

Condition is a professional tool and is not directed at children under 13; we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing apps@boluga.com. If you are in the UK or EU you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and the effective date above. Material changes will be announced in the app.
